GYSPOT PTI Genius Plus
14,500 A of controlled current for HSS, UHSS and Boron, a 27.3 lb liquid-cooled transformer gun that floats on a motorized boom, and an automatic mode that reads the stack and sets itself — the spot welder carrying the widest OEM approvals list in the GYS line.
The strength of the factory weld.
1,300 kg
Pull-out strength of a MIG plug weld on UHSS + UHSS (2.5 + 2.5 mm) in GYS's test — and non-compliant with most carmaker repair procedures.
3,300 kg
The same joint with a GYSPOT inverter spot welder: the mechanical resistance of the original factory point. That is why the OEM procedures call for it.
A transformer gun designed to feel weightless.

The integrated transformer gun puts full power at the electrodes in a compact, ultra-balanced body. An adjustable counterbalance on the motorized boom carries the 27.3 pounds for you, so the gun moves with near-weightless control across the whole working range, holds position without drifting, and rotates a full 360° for pillars, rails and rockers alike.
3" over-opening
Pneumatic over-opening gives three inches of clearance, and the electrode retracts in under two seconds.
Tool-free dovetail
A brass dovetail connection engages the electrical and coolant circuits automatically; a patented quick-release cable lock takes the gun off for service.
55" motorized boom
Motorized height adjustment adapts to any vehicle in seconds, and the 19.7 ft liquid-cooled cable carries the gun around the whole car. A 90° folding arm tucks the machine away in a tight shop.

Four modes. One correct weld.

A next-generation processor detects the material stack and sets current, force and time in real time. Air pressure, electrode condition and incoming power are monitored and corrected weld after weld, with no manual calibration. Body Protection Technology guards the vehicle; the integrated spot counter guards your electrode caps.
Automatic
Detects the stack and applies optimal parameters — up to 15 spots a minute, no calibration.
Synergic
Pick the material and thickness; the machine builds the program.
OEM
Manufacturer-specified programs for approved repair procedures.
Manual
Full control of current, force and time for the specialist.

Built for the steels the OEMs are shipping.
The modern body
14,500 A of controlled current and 600 daN of force across the full range of advanced high-strength steels, from mild-steel outers to hot-formed Boron structure.
Approved procedures
A dedicated OEM mode runs manufacturer-specified parameters. Current approvals are in the OEM approvals registry.
Thirteen G-arms
From the 46 mm G6 to the 1,000 mm G12, plus Small-Access (SA) electrodes for areas conventional arms cannot reach. A single-side repair kit adds limited-access versatility.

Transformer, arms and electrodes are all liquid-cooled for consistent, high-duty-cycle operation shift after shift.

No three-phase in the building?
A true three-phase squeeze-type resistance spot welder needs conditioned power. Running one from a single-phase service takes the right conversion equipment, sized and installed correctly — and it is done routinely. Your GYS dealer will size it with you, confirm the circuit and handle the install.
Have your panel checked
Send your dealer a photo of the panel and the service rating. They will tell you what the install takes and quote the conversion equipment with the machine rather than after it.

Which carmakers, which machines
The approvals registry lists which GYS spot welders carry which manufacturer approvals, and at what tier.
Electrical requirements
Supply, breaker and conversion notes for the install. Your dealer walks the shop through it before delivery.
Approvals documented, techs trained, parts on the shelf.
Your GYS dealer specs the machine and the arm set with you, handles delivery and install, trains your technicians and keeps the approvals paperwork current for your OEM programs. No dealer near you yet? We'll still take care of you.
