What this site is, and isn’t.

gys.us is an information site for GYS welding, collision repair, battery charging, induction heating and automation equipment in the United States. It is operated by Innovative Solutions CRTE Corp, a US importer of GYS equipment. By using the site you agree to the points below.

Specifications and claims

Product names, specifications, ratings and performance claims on this site are GYS's, as published in GYS catalogues, datasheets and on GYS's own sites. They can change without notice. Where a figure is not printed by GYS we say "see datasheet" rather than estimate. The current GYS datasheet governs over anything on this site.

OEM approvals

The OEM Approvals registry is our reading of publicly available carmaker documents, dealer equipment programs and GYS's own approval claims, stated by tier (Approved, Meets spec, Listed) with the source named on each row. It is maintained in good faith and re-checked on a schedule, but programs change and we can be behind. It is not a statement by any carmaker and does not imply endorsement by one. Confirm requirements with the OEM program before you buy or certify.

Trademarks

GYS and GYS product names are trademarks of GYS SAS, used here to describe GYS products. Carmaker names, program names and equipment part numbers belong to their owners and appear only to identify the programs and equipment they refer to.

Warranty and service

GYS equipment carries GYS's warranty. Its scope and process are described on the Warranty page. Nothing on this site extends or replaces it.

Prices and purchases

This site does not sell equipment. Quotes come from the GYS dealer covering your area. Links to consumables and parts lead to a separate retail site with its own terms of sale and privacy policy.

Forms and responses

Forms are answered by a person within one business day. We may decline or redirect a request. Anything you send us is handled as described in the Privacy page.

Use of the site

The site is provided as is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available but do not promise either, and we are not liable for decisions made on the strength of information here. Do not scrape, copy or republish site content without permission.
